“Digital Dreams” Brunswick Street Gallery
I will be exhibiting my piece “If Only The Sky Would Disappear” in the upcoming Digital Dreams group show at the Brunswick Street Gallery in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The exhibition will showcase a range of digital artists and genres from within Australia. There are some really great artists involved in the exhibition so I’m very humbled to be asked to exhibit alongside them. Thanks so much Tessa Yee for the invite.
Adobe have donated prizes to be given away to some lucky guests on the opening night so feel free to drop by if you’re in the area and you may walk away with some cool editing software!
The exhibition commences 6PM August 27, and runs until September 9.
Also, I received a very kind email during the week from a Dead Letter Circus fan who has tattooed one of my pieces on her body after seeing it in the DLC “This Is The Warning” album booklet. I’m incredibly touched that someone has made such a strong connection with one of my pieces that they decided to have it permanently displayed on their body. You can see the tattoo here.
I have added some new pieces to the Artwork section, as well as some new desktop and iPad wallpapers to the Download section after some recent email requests.

Dead Letter Circus – “Big” Official Music Video
I’m so honored with what the band and the amazing people at Katana and PlasticWax were able to achieve in bringing my artwork to life. I had a really great time helping out with the elements and scenes, but these guys are the ones who slaved over the video, night and day to realise the immense vision for the video. Thanks so much guys for everything! And thanks Kim Benzie for acting as the nude, genderless characters from my work, haha.

Television Interview
I received a phone call from Southern Cross News here in Tassie on Sunday morning asking if I’d be willing to be interviewed by them about my recent project with Dead Letter Circus and Warner Music.
I was really nervous because I’m not much of a fan of being in front of cameras, but they talked me into it and it turned out better than I expected.
The photo they used at the start is shocking! haha.
Many thanks Trent Dann for being such a great interviewer and guiding me through the process. And thanks also Andy for the opportunity.
peace and love.
Between The Teardrops
New piece “Between The Teardrops” added to the Artwork section. I’ve also added a desktop wallpaper of this in the Downloads Section.
On the Day 26 entry on the Project Dead Letter site you can see a video of me creating the piece “The Drum” for Dead Letter Circus. Tour dates and ticket info for the “This Is The Warning” tour are also up on the site.

If Only The Sky Would Disappear

A couple of updates today. The latest piece “If Only The Sky Would Disappear” is up in the Artwork section, also have some desktop wallpapers of it in Downloads. I didn’t really expect this piece to receive such a massive flow of beautiful responses and emails. Very much appreciated, thank you. To answer some questions, the large Chinese symbols are for Peace, Love, Happiness, Faith, Dream, Strength and Friendship. The smaller symbols flowing around the larger symbols make up a poem which translates to:
“If only the sky would disappear,
so the galaxies can unfold,
and the beauty in my dreams of you,
you could see what my heart beholds.”
I’m currently doing an interview with Kim Benzie of Dead Letter Circus that will be displayed exclusively on DeadLetterCircus.com regarding our recently completed 10 month collaboration together. It’s an in depth and personal interview with a fair bit of meat to chew on. Will post an update as soon as it’s available.
DLC also have just announced the tour dates for their debut album tour “This Is The Warning”. More info and a list of dates/venues can be found here.

Swivelhead – Behind The Scenes Documentary
Behind the scenes documentary with Clinton Harn of Aussie Alternative Rock band Swivelhead. There’s a very nice mention of my artwork at the 15:10 mark. Really happy to be working with these guys. They have a free mp3 for download on their site, but the whole album is only a few bucks and totally worth it. Great listen. Next gig is 27th of March at The Bald Face Stag in Leichhardt. More info here. These guys put on some very cool live shows.
Just One Wish Away
Two new pieces added to the artwork section, “Just One Wish Away” and “Something To Believe In”. Many thanks for the very kind comments on my RedBubble and DeviantArt pages about these pieces. I’m curently working on a lot of new concepts and looking at creating a “work in progress” journal on the site to show some of these being created.
Quick update from Warner as well. Dead Letter Circus have released “Here We Divide” from the upcoming album “This Is The Warning” over on the DLC website.

The site is set to reveal some very cool behind the scenes stuff from the band while recording the album, as well as content we’ve been working on with the artwork and visual side of the band. The site will be a sign up lead in to the release of the album, members will get exclusive access that the general public won’t get to see, so keep an eye out!
